Lancaster Home Help is a homeowner information and referral service. It does not itself perform contracting, repair, inspection, engineering, emergency response, or other home-service work unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Independent providers

Any contractor or service provider introduced through the site is an independent business. Users are responsible for evaluating providers, verifying insurance, contractor registrations/licenses where applicable (see our PA contractor verification guide), reviewing contracts, and deciding whom to hire.

No guarantee

Submitting a request does not guarantee that a provider is available, that a quote will be provided, or that any provider is suitable for a particular project.

Emergencies

Do not rely on this site for fire, gas, electrical, structural, medical, criminal, or other emergencies. Contact the appropriate emergency service or qualified professional.

User submissions

You agree to provide accurate information and only submit contact information you are authorized to use.

Contact authorization

General email/phone authorization, optional text-message consent, and optional contractor-referral sharing are separate choices on the request form. SMS consent is optional, unchecked by default, and not a condition of service or purchase. You may decline SMS and still request assistance. Your SMS permission is not transferred to any contractor. Message/data rates may apply; reply STOP to end Lancaster Home Help texts or HELP for assistance. Contact and referral permissions are governed by the form disclosures and applicable law.
